Illegal Pete’s Summer Tour 2012: Show #1 Boulder

iZCALLi was in boulder for the first stop of their Illegal Pete’s Summer Tour 2012. The show was a blast as the people in attendance can confirm. What started out with a relaxed and soulful set by our new friends Cold River City turned into and all out dance party when iZCALLi took the stage. It was a sight to see people walking by on the Pearl St. Mall stopping and taking a peek at the madness inside Pete’s. The tour continues when iZCALLi takes stage at Illegal Pete’s LODO on August 4th celebrating Miguel’s B-day. iZCALLi was in the windy city for 3 awesome nights (July 6th-9th) of music and questionable decisions. Thanks to Antonio “El Vampiro” Cordova (Ten Doors Bar) and Felix “Jrock” Marquez (Juniors Sports Bar) for making it happen. Ten Doors featured iZCALLi and Black Dog who proved why they are one of the best bands in Chicago. Black do is pure Rock n’ Roll swag from head to toe. Sunday night at Juniors featured iZCALLi with Nebular a band that has worked for its name molding a sound rooted in Indie/Electronic Pop.

The trip was very eventful and gave the opportunity for the band to network with some of the working people in the Rock En Tu Idioma scene in Chicago including Pedro and Mario at Mas Perros Productions who also streamed the show live from Ten Doors Bar via webcast. The band also met a handful of Chicago bands who we highly recommend you check out including: Malafacha, Antenna, Nahuales Underground, Disko Eterno and although not a band a great artists DJ Resistol 5000. Our good friend and promoter Albert Cabrera “El Greñas also made it out to the Ten Door Show.

The landscape in Chicago looks very promising and iZCALLi is sure to be back sometime in the near future!

Tap and Handle Fort Collins welcomes iZCALLi for Round II

The last time iZCALLi was in Fort Collins it was thanks to the great people of FOCOMX 2012 (Fort Collins Music Experience) and Inca House Collective. Well seems like iZCALLi left quite the after taste at one of Fort Collins Premiere Tap Houses. The band returns for a night of sights, brews and sounds that guarantee a great time when Tap And Handle & Rock En Tu Idioma Present: iZCALLi w/Special Guest. Show Time is 9pm be there early to enjoy some of the worlds best craft beers including Denver’s own Del Norte Brewing Co. Orale!
